County, university celebrate a year of IMPaCT
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology celebrated its yearlong collaboration with Shelbyville and Shelby County recently by showcasing the 10 engineering interns placed with six Shelby County manufacturers as part of the Innovative Model: Positioning Communities for Transformation (IMPaCT).
The interns were recognized at Intelliplex certified technology park in Shelbyville.
IMPaCT brings the partners together to give youth in Shelby County opportunities to explore careers in science and technology; provides Rose-Hulman students with opportunities in the work place; and offers industry a chance to invest in potential employees.
